The BIG one! Well, the first big one.

So excited to share some new developments and photos from our First Trimester NT ultrasound this morning. Today we experienced one of the most amazing feelings I think one can ever experience. Many times, you hear about that feeling of amazement and wonder parents-to-be get when they see their baby actually looking like a baby and moving around with no care, but you never know what that actually feels like until it happens to YOU and the feeling really IS indescribable and surreal. So out of this world, in fact, that at the sight of Baby Buccio on that machine, brought me to tears for so many reasons, but mostly because of sheer happiness (yes, this tough chick is melting). Like I said, the baby is looking like, well, a baby! No longer like a cone head or a cute alien. We saw its nose (looks like mine!), its legs kicking and his hands flapping about (obviously super athletic like its mother!). It was wide awake for a one-on-one with his already neurotic parents! Even saw a little bit of the lips (looking like Coco, my bembon!) After a thorough check-up of all the machinery down there, the technician was kind enough to show us a 3D version of Baby B and we died when we saw it covering its eyes with both its little hands. No more pics please! lol. It was adorable. We can't wait to meet this little bebo/beba!
And for the kicker- baby is actually 13 weeks old! After measuring the baby, it looks like my due date is now Feb. 26, 2012! Must be all that bacon I'm eating =) No idea if its a hamburger or a hot dog just yet. Looks like week 16 might be the week!
As far as to how I'm feeling, still a bit nauseous with occasional vomiting, but not so bad and honestly its quite tolerable when you think about what (or in this case, who) is making you barf! Baby forgiven. Big shout out to Coco for being the most kick ass husband and dad in training. He has really been taking unbelievable care of me.

Check out my baby's photo shoot above!Baby was as a big as a plum in week 12 but we fast forwarded to a peach due to the ultrasound's developments!

Thank you all for being so supportive and always checking up on me! It's a nice feeling to know how much love this baby already has!

Milf in training,
Kata B.
