Let's make some guacamole ese! = Baby Buccio Week 16

Well hello, hello, hello!

Here we are at week 16 and guess what?? Baby Buccio is now the size of an AVOCADO! Is it just me, or does this baby just get more delicious???!

I'm feeling fantastic and thankfully, everything is moving along swimmingly! Not sure if I mentioned in the last update, but Ive gained 6 pounds and definitely not denying myself any food pleasures as they come along. No new cravings but I am obsessed with my Naked fruit and veggie juices. Absolutely love! Im not big on veggies and fruits normally, I'm a preservative kind of girl, but these juices are great and make me feel healthy in an instant. I also went back to my pre-natal yoga and I am SO into it, especially now that I can enjoy it without the nausea. And can I tell you, there are actually people out there that are less flexible than I am! Um, that's amazing. (not for them, but yes for me) I feel like Mary Lou Retton in class! Not only is it helping with stretching and flexibility with my lower back pains which have been painful and not so hot (too much weight on this little frame!) , but it is also so calming and zen. I'm all about that.

I'm equally obsessed with my latest purchase, the Belly Buds (pic attached), designed for babies to listen to some tunes in the womb! The baby has ears and they say starting this week, it starts to hear noises and sounds, though muffled and a bit distorted but it never hurts to start young. Education starts in the womb! So this weekend, I introduced Baby Buccio to the Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay. And a big thanks to Tia Betsy who got Baby B it's very own ipod nano. Coco uploaded all it's Rockabye baby lullabies (Madonna, Kanye West, Beatles, Journey, etc) as well as Baby Mozart. I'm clearly going to try my hardest to avoid all those cheesy and annoying kid songs that make you want to throw yourself out a window. We'll see if it works!

And lastly, Coco and I go this week to find out the baby's sex!!!!!!! We are so freakin' excited! Because waiting 20 weeks is just not an option for someone who doesn't like the word "no", I made an appt with an ultrasound office that does gender tests for a fee starting at 14 weeks (New York's version of La Ideal in Miami!) I'll be chugging the Coca Cola to make sure that baby gets a little slutty and opens it's legs! It's the only time as a parent I'll be saying that. So fingers crossed it cooperates.

Anywho, that should wrap it up. I hope you are all enjoying the updates as much as I am writing them. This is such a fun, weird, exciting, and sometimes hysterical learning process and it's only just the beginning!

MILF in training,

Kat.
