SWEET POTATO PIE!- Baby Buccio Week 18

Hi Fan Club!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! And what a better way to kick start Monday than with a Maya update! Maya is the size of a sweet potato! (or as my grandmother and my dad's wife say "eso no puede ser! esa niƱa esta grandisima ya!") Seriously, I am going to eat this baby by the time she hatches. Officially hit week 18, which means I'm entering my 5th month. Yikes! Time flies but I'm having the time of my life enjoying this ride. Never thought I would enjoy pregnancy as much as I am. It's a trip! It also allows me to put so much into perspective- what's important, what's petty, who matters, who doesn't. Add 'enlightening" to the list of adjectives used to describe pregnancy. It's a free philosophy class and no attendance taken.

So much going on and cannot wait to fill you all in! For starters, Casa Buccio is under major renovations with a new kitchen, new baby room, and new paint job! Can we say nesting?! Coco is an amazing project manager and we spent the weekend packing up the house (me at a very slow pace) and getting it ready for today's start date. The house is upside down and our room looks like a bad episode of Hoarders. While Coco holds the fort (and the dogs) down, I'll be residing with Boni for two weeks! It's been years since I've had a roommate! But I'm looking forward to spooning with her, watching old movies, and ordering takeout. (I hope she feels the same way).

My belly is growing and it looks great and by the way, I'm still rocking the skinny! I mean, just because I'm preggo, doesn't mean I can let myself go?! What would Maya think?!! My jean extender is coming in handy since most of my pants are not closing. But that's okay, bc most of my tops still do and that is great. Oh, I have a new craving. Officially stuck on Dunkin Donuts breakfast wraps, specifically the bacon, egg and cheese! Random but yum.

And the best news of all! On Saturday, we felt Maya (at least this is the first time we didn't confuse the movements)! After listening to an hour of Belly Buds and sitting on the couch watching TV, I felt little bubble flutters (and this was NOT gas). It was insane! So in awe and so cool! I wanted to feel her forever! But that's all we got. Then last night, while Coco talked to Maya while in bed, we felt it again! It was unbelievable! You guys, WE'RE HAVING A BABY!

Tonight, Karla, Bonita, Maya and I are going to downtown to listen to Pitbull rock the house! So I'll expect some dance moves coming from within. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again for all your love and support!

MILF in training,

Kathy
